Character's Full Name: Zoe Weiss
PB: Allison Scagliotti
Character's Starting Level: 8 | Knight in Dragon's Mind
Character Age: 25
Physical Description: Zoe stands at about 5'7" and is of a slight build. She has the muscle tone for a runner, nothing overly athletic. She has dark brown eyes and dark brown hair that rests a few inches over shoulder length. She usually layers her clothing, opting for wearing the same thing she's been wearing since she was younger. She definitely doesn't dress her age. She carries herself with confidence and her posture and stride take that into consideration.

Character's Species/Race (aka human, elf, dragonblood human, etc): Human

Character History: Zoe is the eldest daughter to the Weiss family. Born first, she had higher expectations to her skills and her training started from the moment she started to show any sign of talent. As she got older and more adept at using her skills, her father used her to gain favor. Once her brother was born, their father felt that he had a true "team" at his disposal and sought to use them for his own gain. Raised alongside her brother, Zoe was given the harder assignments being the eldest, but she also resisted more.

By the time she was of age, she was nearing her father's skill level and she was being far more careful about what things she was taking part in on her father's behalf. She preferred to follow her mother's lead, as she always believed that she was more reserved, but even her mother seemed to bend to her father's will and demands. Frustrated with how things had been happening she tried to get her brother to leave the family with her, but he was too used to the lifestyle that their status in the world had granted them.

She left and ventured out on her own, leaving her brother to make his own choices - regardless of how concerned she was for him. Their family had countless connections and she abused the family name to gain access to high profile events and locations. When the opportunity presented itself, she opted to take her family's legacy down a peg or five. She sabotaged efforts that would have given her father greater advantages and she works to take those away. Those actions gain her the attention of the Knights and she accepts their offer to work for them. After joining Dragon's Fire, she spends some time with them on site, but eventually she takes a step back and opts to work part-time for them.

Zoe is part of several crucial operations spanning the three years before her parents death. The most vital one INFORMATION REDACTED ------------ INFORMATION REDACTED --------- where she was key in bringing in INFORMATION REDACTED ------------ INFORMATION REDACTED --------- Zoe was also involved in INFORMATION REDACTED ------------ INFORMATION REDACTED --------- and was requested for INFORMATION REDACTED ------------ INFORMATION REDACTED --------- but she declined due to needing to attend the funeral of her parents.

While at the funeral, it was discovered that their mother might have been under the influence of their father. The thought of that is something that doesn't sit well with Zoe and she makes sure to mention her brother and his skills to the Knights in the hope that they'd bring him in and pull him out of the lifestyle that could put him on the same path that their father had been on.

With her brother recruited by the Knights and settled in, she's decided that it's time to return to London and reunite with her brother and take on the role of a full-time knight once more. It's partially due to the current stream of events that has been happening and partially because of her brother.

Personality and Psychology:

The first word that Zoe learned as a child was no. It wasn't her father's favorite word and as she grew up, it seemed to guide her more than most would prefer. She showed restraint where her brother showed excess and even when she showed to be more powerful and gifted than her father had dreamed, she still held reservations about using her abilities. Zoe followed what her father required, but she always did the bare minimum when it came to her tasks. She never pushed harder than required and never looked to give them anything other than whatever she'd been told to do.

Zoe never felt that her family's aspirations were ones that aligned with what she believed in. Her resistance often made her butt heads with her father, something that she knew would only cause more trouble for her and her brother, but she felt just following along blindly without having questions would only put them all in jeopardy. This also caused friction between her and her brother. While he was the first to take the easy way out, using his abilities whenever and however he wanted - she wanted to make sure that everything was being done for the right reason. Adam preferred the life that he had landed into, growing used to the luxury that their family's estate would provide. Most of their conflict fell in when she wanted to leave and asked him to come with her.

Clearly, he didn't go. She resented him for it for a while, but she also still wanted to make sure her brother was safe. While she was working counter to whatever her family was planning, she made sure to avoid anything that her brother was involved in. Zoe had concerns that if she was involved Adam might not go through with it and she knew what their father would do... but she was also worried that he would go through with it and that she'd lose her brother for good.

Zoe is fiercely independent. Being the eldest was the start of it, but really her strong aversion to her family's ideals and practices meant that she had to do a lot of things on her own. She didn't want to use the benefit of the family, so she earned everything she had. The jobs that she did for the family were done to the point of completion and that was it, which didn't grant her any favors either. While her brother was bringing in extra information and resources, she was doing the bare minimum and that was never good enough.

Zoe fought against that high bar standard, though, and still managed to stay out of her father's focus. While she was deemed a disappointment, she was still family and she stuck through it as long as she could.

Adam and his abuse of his ability does cause her to judge him a bit harsher than she would other psionics. Being family seems to lend itself to that, because she knows that he's seen what corruption of power did to her father and she expects higher of him. When dealing with other psionics she doesn't have the immediate resource her brother does to try and gauge their true motives, but she tends to err on the side of caution. She gives them a wider bit of room to operate, but she has no issue stepping in when she feels like they are crossing a line.

She's extremely outgoing, being capable of striking up a conversation with nearly anyone about nearly any subject. While her brother uses his telepathic skills, Zoe had to learn to read people and watch for social cues to lead her conversations. It's a skill she developed early and has only grown stronger with it. It came in handy when dealing with their father and later, after the death of her parents, she blamed herself for not picking up on things with her mother. Those small glances to the wrong direction or the quirk of an upper lip... she doesn't have many regrets, but the loss of her mother and the thought that she wasn't there for her is one of them.

Most of her life, is filled with things that she never wanted to gain from her father. She saw him as the worst case scenario for people with their powers. Ones that use them for their own gain, instead of the aid of others. She didn't want his greed or his ego and there are moments where she's worried that her brother will turn into their father. It's one of her larger fears, because she knows how much he relies on his power and she wishes she had been there for her brother more, especially after their parents died.

Zoe did take one trait from her father, his stubbornness. She is the sort of person that will get an idea in her head and stick with it, no matter how long it takes her to follow it through.

Powers and Abilities: Zoe is a psionic. Her power is focused to telekinetic and she was trained by her father. She's highly capable and very restrained in the use of her powers, preferring to use other skills before she has to abuse her own talents.

She is good at reading people, focusing mostly on microexpressions and social cues. This is something she picked up at a young age, at the insistence of her father, but has stuck with it through her years.

Zoe is also trained in the use of a Zweihänders (German two-handed sword) in which she actually only needs to use one had as her telekinetic ability allows her to support the sword mentally.

Any other important information (including special inventory items in their possession): Her sword! - honestly, it's mostly for show. She does have access to her portion of her family inheritance, along with whatever property and funds that incurs.

Why do you think this character would join/work with the Knights? Zoe joined the knights because she wanted to do something positive for once with her ability. She saw a chance to try and counterbalance the things her family was setting into place and with the knights she felt like she was not only putting a stop to the wrong things her family did, but being a part of something that would prepare future generations to fight against that sort of abuse of an ability.

Do you have a preference for which NPC brought in your character? I do not have a preference! Feel free to create a cool story of some mission that overlapped with her own agendas! She won't be divulging any details without the mission being marked as open for general briefings.
